West Canary Return & Refund Policy

At West Canary, every product is made to order with care. Because of the made to order nature of our products, we offer a limited return policy designed to be fair to our customers while protecting our small business. Please review our policy carefully before placing your order.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders may begin production shortly after checkout. For this reason, all sales are final and cancellations are not accepted once an order has been placed.

Return Eligibility

  • Full-price orders only: Returns are accepted only for orders where every item is purchased at full price, without any discounts, promotions, or free-item offers. If any item in the order is discounted or free, the order is not eligible for return.
  • Order value limit: Returns are available only for orders under $200.
  • Condition: Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
  • Color variations: Slight variations in color or appearance due to different screen displays or device settings are not considered defects.
  • Time limit: All return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery. Items requested outside of the 7-day window are not eligible for returns or replacements.

Return Costs & Fees

  • First item courtesy: If your order qualifies, your first returned item may be returned without a handling fee (return shipping costs still apply unless defective).
  • Additional items: Any additional items returned from the same order will incur a flat $5 per item handling and merchandising fee, deducted from your refund.
  • Return shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or we made an error.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Defective or Damaged Items

  • Shipment damage: Items damaged during shipment must be reported within 7 days of delivery and will be replaced at no cost to you.
  • Manufacturing defects: If you believe your item has a defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Approved defective or damaged items will be replaced.
  • Exclusions: Normal wear-and-tear or misuse is not covered.
  • Time limit: Claims for defective or damaged items must be made within 7 days of delivery. Items requested outside of the 7-day window are no longer eligible for replacements.

Refund Method & Processing

  • Refunds are issued only to the original payment method.
  • Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to process once the return is received and approved.
  • Partial refunds may be issued if returned items are damaged, used, or missing original packaging.

Exchanges

  • We do not accept exchanges.
  • Defective or damaged items may be replaced under the rules above.

Exclusions & Final Sale Items

  • Orders of $200 or more are final sale.
  • Orders containing any discounted, promotional, or free items are final sale.
  • Gift cards and personalized items cannot be returned.
  • International customers are responsible for all return shipping, duties, and taxes.

Return Authorization

  • All returns must be approved and issued a Return Authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Store Discretion

  • West Canary reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.

  • West Canary reserves the right to update or change this policy at any time without prior notice.

How to Start a Return

  • If your order meets the above requirements, please contact us within 7 days of delivery to request a return authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
